Job Description

Working with our client, one of Canada’s largest retail organizations, we are actively seeking an articulate and career driven candidate for the role of Manager of Inbound Logistics. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual who is driven to improve processes, demonstrates keen time management skills, and has proven leadership experience.


The Manager of Inbound Logistics will drive exceptional processes and execution for inbound receiving, returns processing, and inventory management within the e-commerce center. Key responsibilities for the role may include, but are not limited to the following:


* Review inventory items and levels in order to plan increases/decreases in capacity
* Provide recommendations on items to ensure capacity and processing restrictions are managed effectively and efficiently
* Identify e-commerce product location to achieve cost and operational targets
* Utilize space by overseeing product consolidation opportunities
* Develop and lead inventory team ensure high degree of accuracy and inventory processes
* Enhance returns process to ensure accuracy and timely implementation


About You:


* 5 or more years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain management
* Experience working in a distribution center
* Experience using SAP
* Effective decision-making skills and leadership capabilities
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Access
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple on-going priorities in a fast-paced environment
