Job Description

Reporting to the National Team Leader - Territory Managers, you will be a part of Canada’s leading pet health insurance company.

The Territory Manager is responsible for participating in setting strategies, leading on implementing tactical plans to attain business growth, deliver exceptional customer care, and execute the marketing of channel products and services.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Selling all influencers on the benefits of pet health insurance for their clients and their business and establishing consumer lead generation programs

  • Reviewing results with stakeholders and providing guidance and assistance in growing the profitability of the lead generation program

  • Assessing lead generation activity and focusing efforts growth to meet goals

  • Driving awareness of pet health insurance, through training and education of veterinary and/or retail staff and attendance at key trade and industry shows

  • Executing and leveraging marketing strategies to drive growth and market share of existing business and cultivation of new markets


  • Ordering and arranging delivery of promotional materials to veterinary clinics

  • Providing guidance to veterinary practice staff on the use of Practice ON (paperless platform for clinic trial and claim submissions)

  • Entering activities and contacts into SalesForce

Business Planning & Reporting

  • Assisting in preparing and analyzing market activity reports and adjusting tactical plans

  • Assisting with evaluation of market reactions to advertising programs and providing information and recommendations about competitive conditions in area of operation

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Post-secondary university degree or college diploma in Business Administration or related field

  • Valid driver’s license is required

  • Previous clinic and/or pet health experience - RVT, VMOA, VOA, VA

  • Experience with pet health insurance within the clinic level

  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and French

  • Must be available for travel within the eastern Ontario and Quebec region
