Job Description


Department:      National Programs  

Reports to:        Manager, National Programs

Job Summary:   The incumbent supports the administration and delivery of a suite of national academic and educational programs. This is a 12-month contract position.

Duties & Responsibilities

External academic support (facilitators, instructors, tutors, markers)

    • Administer and track AODA certification/recertification
    • Issue and track receipt of signed contracts

    • Process payments

    • Assist with communications

    • Assist with monitoring performance

Program administration 

  • Assist with preparing Moodle class spaces for use

  • Process and maintain course records

  • Assist with processing grades for various programs

  • Assist with validation of program completion

  • Assist with maintaining course accreditation records and preparing new/renewal accreditation requests

  • Other duties as required


  • Excellent command of English with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to speak and write French preferred

  • Proficient in using common office software (MS Office Suite) and able to learn new programs as required (e.g., Aptify membership database software)

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

  • Responsive and service-oriented

  • Able to handle clerical tasks efficiently and with high accuracy

  • Able to work to deadlines and juggle competing priorities



  • Prior administrative experience preferred, ideally in an association or education context

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree an asset

  • CIP designation and/or familiarity with the property & casualty insurance industry an asset
